How do I exchange my ring for a different size?

Easy — here's how it works: 1. Head to our Exchange & Returns Portal and follow the prompts 2. Select the item you want to exchange and the new size you need 3. Send your ring back to us in clean, "like new" condition 4. We'll dispatch your new size as soon as we receive it For Australian customers — exchange postage is on us, both ways. No cost to you. For New Zealand customers — send your ring back to our NZ address and we'll cover the rest: Suite 14033, Level 1, 6 Johnsonville Road, Johnsonville, Wellington 6037, New Zealand For all other international customers — you'll need to cover the cost of returning the ring to our Melbourne warehouse: 6/25-37 Huntingdale Rd, Burwood VIC 3125, Australia Not sure of your new size before sending back? How do I return an item for a refund?

If you'd like a refund instead of an exchange, we've got you covered within 90 days of purchase — no questions asked. 1. Head to our Exchange & Returns Portal 2. Once we receive and inspect it, your refund will be processed For Australian customers — return postage is covered, no cost to you. How long do I have to exchange or return?

You have 90 days from the date of purchase to exchange or return any item — no questions asked. The 90-day window applies to AU, NZ and international orders alike. One exception worth knowing: We understand that customers buying metal wedding rings sometimes order 6 or more months in advance of their wedding day. If you're outside the 90-day window but your ring is genuinely unworn — sizing tags still attached, in perfect, brand new condition — reach out to us at support@etrnl.com.au and we'll do our best to arrange an exchange or return for you. We'll assess each situation on a case by case basis, but we'd rather sort you out than leave you with a ring that doesn't fit.

Do I pay for return shipping on exchanges?

It depends on where you're located: Australia — no. Exchanges are completely free, postage included both ways. New Zealand — you'll need to ship your ring back to our NZ address (below), but we cover everything from there: Suite 14033, Level 1, 6 Johnsonville Road, Johnsonville, Wellington 6037, New Zealand All other international orders — you'll be responsible for the cost of shipping your ring back to our Melbourne warehouse: 6/25-37 Huntingdale Rd, Burwood VIC 3125, Australia We recommend using a tracked shipping service for any return — we can't be responsible for items lost in transit.

Can I exchange or return an engraved ring?

Engraved rings cannot be exchanged or returned for a refund — personalised items are made specifically for you, so we're unable to resell them. But if your engraved ring doesn't fit, we've got a solution. We offer a Lifetime Replacement Policy for engraved rings. If you need a new size, we'll engrave and send out a replacement ring for a flat fee: - $50 AUD for metal rings - $20 AUD for silicone rings This applies at any time — not just within 90 days — so there's no rush to sort it. To get started, email us at support@etrnl.com.au with your name, order number, the ring you need replaced, and the size you need. We'll take care of the rest. Tip before ordering an engraved ring: Make sure you're confident in your size first. Our Ring Sizing Kit ($9.95, refunded on any ring purchase) is the most accurate way to confirm your size before you commit to an engraving.

What condition does my ring need to be in for an exchange or return?

All rings being returned or exchanged must be in clean, "like new" condition — free from any scratching, damage or signs of wear. We reserve the right to: - Refuse a return or exchange if the ring shows signs of excessive wear or damage beyond what would be expected from trying it on - Apply a damage fee if the ring is returned in poor condition If your ring has an issue covered under our Lifetime Guarantee (cracking, finish wearing, manufacturer defect), that's a different process — head to our Warranty & Lifetime Guarantee section instead.

I'm outside the 90-day window — what are my options?

In most cases the 90-day window is firm — but we're a reasonable bunch. If your ring is unworn and in brand new condition (sizing tag still on, no scratches, no signs of wear), reach out to us at support@etrnl.com.au even if you're past 90 days. This happens most often with customers who've bought a metal wedding ring well in advance of their wedding — we get it, and we'll do our best to work something out. If your ring has been worn and is past the 90 days, it won't be eligible for an exchange or return — but if there's a product issue, our Lifetime Guarantee still applies with no time limit whatsoever. Head to our Warranty section for how to make a claim. If your engraved ring doesn't fit, our Lifetime Replacement Policy applies regardless of when you bought it — $50 AUD for metal rings, $20 AUD for silicone. Email us to arrange it.
